Reading PDF files
Many publications on this website are provided as "PDF" files. "PDF" stands for "Portable Document Format" - this is a very common file format for material designed to be reproduced exactly on-screen or on a printer.
You will need a PDF document reader to open these files. If you do not already have one on your computer, then you may download one by clicking the following link.
This is an approximately 20MB file, and will take about 60 minutes to download using a dial-up modem (56kbps). However you need only do this once and it will allow you to read PDF documents from any web site, via email or otherwise acquired.
