Wanted: Top quality photos of organs
ORGANZ LAUNCHES GOLDEN JUBILEE PHOTOGRAPHIC COMPETITION
Are you a good photographer? Can you take first class shots of pipe organs? Then ORGANZ invites you to enter your best work in its Golden Jubilee Photographic competition.
To celebrate its 2011 Golden Jubilee year and generate funds for educational and developmental activities, ORGANZ intends to publish a special calendar featuring top quality images of New Zealand organs or other organ-related subjects. The images used will be selected from the best entries received.
Significant prize money is on offer for the three entries that are judged best: $1,000 for first place, $500 for second and $250 third.
Appropriately, the calendar will allow people to record anniversaries rather than show specific days of the week. So it will not go out of date at the end of the year.
The resulting diverse collection of images, whether published or not, will also provide an important archive of images of New Zealand organs.
