Wellington Cathedral Voices under Richard Protheroe, with Nicholas Grigsby at the historic Lawton organ, will sing Choral Evensong in St John's Anglican church, Feilding, as part of its arts festival. Retiring collection.

Description
The organ at St John the Evangelist, Feilding, was the first Lawton Organ in New Zealand (1922). Three manual console with choir organ prepared. Converted to electro-pneumatic action in the 1950s. It was restored by the South Island Organ Company in 2007 including the reinstallation of the choir manual for use as a MIDI keyboard.
