In a special concert before their Chamber Music NZ national tour, Baroque Voices team up with Phantastic Spirits, a specially formed ensemble of some of New Zealand's foremost early musicians in a programme containing music by great figures of the Elizabethan Age: Wilbye, Dowland, Tomkins, and their Italian models and contemporaries, Monteverdi, the Gabrielis, Caccini etc.
This coincert features the NZ School of Music's Drake chamber organ which will also be taken on tour where it will be played by Donald Nicolson.
