Can it be that Musica Sacra has been gracing our musical lives for ten years? It seems only yesterday it was founded.  Nevertheless it must be true because it is giving its 10th Anniversary Concert in November. The programme features works by Handel: An Ode for Saint Cecilia, Chandos Anthem No 11 "Let God Arise" and the Organ Concerto in G minor, Op 7 No 5. The director, Dr Indra Hughes, will conduct and play the Donald Barriball Memorial Chamber Organ for the concerto and other parts of the concert. Soloists are Pepe Becker (soprano) and Iain Tetley (tenor) and the players of Ak Barok accompany the soloists and choir.
