Christopher Hainsworth, formerly of Hamilton and now organist of Béziers Cathedral, France, returns to Whakatane where his previous organ concerts have been well received by local audiences. He is noted for his entertaining programmes and commentaries, as well as his superb musicianship.

On this occasion his lunch hour programme comprises a wide-ranging classically-inclined musical banquet - fruity, frothy and filling - to complement the audience's picnic lunches.

If is raining on Thursday 4 March 2010 the concert will be postponed to the following day.

VENUE: Peace Park (N side of Museum & Gallery), Boon Street, Whakatane.

TIME: 12.15pm until 1.45pm.  People may come and go as they please in that period.
