From USA,Colorado Springs Youth Symphony Orchestra and Auckland's Aotea Youth Symphony Orchestra join together for a free concert at the Auckland Town Hall. Programme includes works by Brahms and Puccini and soloist Paul Robertson playing the Handel Organ Concerto in F Major on the refurbished Town Hall Organ.

A combined symphony orchestra of more than 100 young players from opposite sides of the world with their conductors, from Auckland Paul Harrop ONZM and from Colorado Springs Gary Nicholson, promises to be a very exciting night of Music.

This is a Friday night free Town Hall concert for all ages and all are welcome.

The pipe organ, the largest in New Zealand, was rebuilt by the firm of Klais Orgelbau and the new organ inaugurated in March 2010.

Parking available in the Civic car park, beneath adjacent Aotea Square - the cost for evenings and weekends is a flat rate. Also, after 6pm parking in neighbouring streets is mostly free although the number of spaces is limited.
