City Organist Dr John Wells offers an unconventional early Friday evening programme to surprise and delight.   You are invited to  hear masterpieces from England, France, Germany and Italy on Australasia’s most famous old organ, recently restored and ready to show off an amazing range of colours. The programme also features unusual and original approaches  to the music of such well-known composers as Beethoven, Joseph Haydn and César Franck. Other composers featured include Andrea Gabrieli, Claudio Merulo, John Stanley, Giles Farnaby, Richard Farnaby,  Samuel Wesley and Johann Sebastian Bach.                                                        

Admission by programme $20, (students and senior citizens $10).
