Description
Auckland City Organist Dr John Wells will play a free Sunday afternoon concert on the fabulous new Klais organ on Sunday 5 December 2010 at 2:30pm. His programme includes Liszt’s Variations on ‘Weinen, Klagen, Sorgen, Zagen'. Other works: Buxtehude's Prelude in G minor, Franck's Pièce héroïque, Grand Offertoire by Batiste, Adagio in F (Bridge) and the Second Movement from Wells' own Organ Symphony in C.

Description
Auckland Town Hall, built in December 1911, sits in the very heart of Auckland City. 
The pipe organ, the largest in New Zealand, was rebuilt by the firm of Klais Orgelbau and the new organ inaugurated in March 2010.

Parking available in the Civic car park, beneath adjacent Aotea Square - the cost for evenings and weekends is a flat rate. Also, after 6pm parking in neighbouring streets is mostly free although the number of spaces is limited.
