Description
Musica Sacra's highly popular annual Christmas Spectacular will this year be held in the Auckland Town Hall and, in addition to the fine choir under Dr Indra Hughes, will feature the splendour of the APO Brass and the new Klais organ plus, of course, the audience for the essential carol singing. Organ solos will be played by Nicholas Forbes Musica Sacra Organ Scholar and Dr John Wells Auckland City Organist. Description
Auckland Town Hall, built in December 1911, sits in the very heart of Auckland City. 
The pipe organ, the largest in New Zealand, was rebuilt by the firm of Klais Orgelbau and the new organ inaugurated in March 2010.

Parking available in the Civic car park, beneath adjacent Aotea Square - the cost for evenings and weekends is a flat rate. Also, after 6pm parking in neighbouring streets is mostly free although the number of spaces is limited.
