Young virtuoso Sarah Kim amazed and entranced NZ audiences in 2007 when she played on the old Auckland Town Hall organ, impressing even accomplished musicians with her sensitive and skilful musicality. This stunning performer's career has taken her from top venues in New Zealand and Australia to Europe. Now she returns for an exciting solo concert on the 2010 Klais organ - one of the world's finest instruments played by one of the world's finest young musicians.

Auckland Town Hall, built in December 1911, sits in the very heart of Auckland City. akltownhall354x200

The pipe organ, the largest in New Zealand, was rebuilt by the firm of Klais Orgelbau and the new organ inaugurated in March 2010.

Parking available in the Civic car park, beneath adjacent Aotea Square - the cost for evenings and weekends is a flat rate. Also, after 6pm parking in neighbouring streets is mostly free although the number of spaces is limited.
