Chris Hainsworth, a Wellingtonian who has been free-lancing in France for nearly 30 years and is now Organist of Beziers Cathedral, tours New Zealand in February-March-April 2011 with his usual mixture of high and low-brow music and witty and informative presentations. A gastronomic theme runs through the programme this time as he links music to food and wine - French, of course! - in a tempting all-organic menu, from the grand arrival of the guests, drinks, grace, three courses and cheese to dessert, not forgetting a piece of 1811 Birthday cake for Franz Liszt!
