Part of Auckland Organ Discovery Day, a free open day with fun activities and displays about the pipe organ, and part of "The King's Birthday" Auckland Organ Festival, 3-6 June 2011.

Description
Auckland Town Hall, built in December 1911, sits in the very heart of Auckland City. 
The pipe organ, the largest in New Zealand, was rebuilt by the firm of Klais Orgelbau and the new organ inaugurated in March 2010.

Parking available in the Civic car park, beneath adjacent Aotea Square - the cost for evenings and weekends is a flat rate. Also, after 6pm parking in neighbouring streets is mostly free although the number of spaces is limited.
