Description
The historic St Andrews Presbyterian Church, Merivale, was relocated to Rangi Ruru Girls' School in 1987 where it is used regularly for services. For further details see the websites of the Historic Places Trust.
The organ has 30 speaking stops over 2 manuals & pedal. It was built in 1902 by Gray & Davison, 6 Pratt St, London, for St Andrew's. It was erected by Jenkins and opened on the 2nd November 1902. Originally tracker to manuals & stops with pneumatic pedal, it was "modernised" in 1962 with a detached console and electropneumatic action.
